Our School

Welcome to Our School

A Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

We have an excellent team of 7 teachers and 2 support staff headed by our Director of Education Kaimba Mwitwa. They bring a unique blend of educational expertise, local knowledge and cultural understanding, creating a learning environment which is both nurturing and empowering. The school comprises two main blocks, facing each other. These blocks house a total of five classrooms. Each have the resources necessary for effective teaching and learning.

We are proud to cater to a wide age range of students, from 6 to 22 years old. This unique aspect of our school reflects that educational journeys vary, and some children may complete their primary education at an older age. We embrace this diversity. There are 7 year groups. If they pass their exams, the children then advance to grade 8 in local government schools.

We believe in the power of education to transform lives and are dedicated to equipping the children with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to rise above their disadvantaged start in life, to obtain work and make real and positive contribution to their families, communities and to Zambia.Through the educational, financial, spiritual and moral support to the school, the  Joy Community School Trust is supplementing the Zambian government efforts to provide free and quality education for all.
